Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility of TheLoanOfficer, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations and potential solutions. Please contact us if you observe an issue not listed below.
Color contrast
A small number of optional, decorative color themes on custom partner profile pages can place white text on a lighter background slightly below the WCAG AA 4.5:1 ratio.
Our core interface — buttons, links, headings, error messages, and brand gradients — now meets AA contrast. We are reviewing the optional partner cover themes, and high-visibility focus indicators are present throughout.
Generated PDF documents
Some generated PDF documents (such as loan estimates) may not be fully readable by all screen reader software.
We are working to improve our PDF generation engine to produce tagged, accessible PDFs. We expect to repair this by Q3 2026.
Document upload drag-and-drop
The drag-and-drop upload feature in some browsers may not fully support keyboard navigation.
Please use the standard “Browse” link/button within the upload area as an alternative — it is fully keyboard accessible.

TheLoanOfficer takes the following measures to support accessibility:
- Build interfaces on Radix UI primitives, which provide keyboard and screen-reader support out of the box.
- Maintain a design-token color system to keep contrast WCAG-compliant.
- Use a single-h1 heading hierarchy per page and ARIA labels on icon-only controls.
- Support keyboard navigation across modals, dropdowns, and forms.
